Bowl Game Bonanza: Friday, December 26th

Posted by Double M

This post is part of a series of posts entitled Bowl Game Bonanza Did you know that there are a bazillion bowl games? Well there are. And here at IR I am going to give you a quick breakdown of each game so that you know who is playing in the bowl, what channel and time the game is on (all times CST), and why you would or wouldn't want to watch the game.

Hope you had a great Christmas. I think today is traditionally the 2nd busiest shopping day of the year. Seems like a clusterf- you should avoid. Unfortunately there is only one crappy bowl game on today, so there's not much to do on the college football front.

On to the bonanza:

Motor City Bowl: Florida Atlantic (+7) vs. Central Michigan (ESPN, 7pm)
Location: Ford Field, Detroit, MI
Announcers: Todd Harris, Ray Bentley
There's one bowl game today and you don't know either team. Central Michigan has a better record and is going to have a home game compared to Florida Atlantic. Seems like enough analysis for me.

Verdict: Central Michigan wins and covers.
Regretometer: Catch this at the bars with your friends. There is literally no reason to watch this game. It's a full 5 on the Regretometer.

Instead of watching this bowl game, watch this ALF Christmas special instead.

Look for Bowl Game Bonanzas everyday there's a bowl game.
