My Missed Chance at Stardom

Posted by MajorLB

I hate posting two music videos in one day, but if I had known this video was coming out I would have totally skipped the cover this morning. I could have been one of those people in the crowd if I had just gotten out of bed that Saturday. Alas, without finding someone else to go with I didn't have the motivation and have now forever missed my chance to be in a rap video. DAMN

If you liked the song (I do) you should check out more of Fresh Espresso, my favorite local Seattle hip hop that I'm most excited to see at GO! MACHINE this weekend. I know their CD is on iTunes and CDbaby. They were also the inspiration for this amazing t-shirt.

Who doesn't love a cover?

Sometimes I really need a pump up song to get me going on a Monday morning. However, after a long holiday weekend and 2 weeks away from my physical office, I'm not quite ready for a real pump up song. Therefore I present an upbeat song (Get into the Groove by Madonna) performed in a much less upbeat way by The Solvents.

Muppet Bohemian Rhapsody

Posted by Royalcow

This is about the best thing I have seen all week. I would recommend if you are ever feeling sad, watch this video. Or any of the Muppet Show really, but right now, watch this video.

Brett Favre Wrangler Commercial Remake is Only Slightly Less Ridiculous than the Original

Posted by Double M

Have you seen that Brett Favre wrangler commercial where he is playing backyard football? Of course you have. But just in case you haven't, I have included it below:

Four things stand out:
1) That commercial is around 4 years old and still on TV
2) No one plays backyard football like that (especially in the mud) in jeans
3) This is an NFL quarterback - no way is is throwing the ball that high on the mediocre white receiver dude
4) This is the most important one: Nobody plays pick up football with 10 guys doing line drills and one uncovered receiver running around. Nobody. This commercial has so much ludicrousity that I'm not sure how it got made.

In any case, someone remade this commercial with really tiny jean shorts instead of jeans. I am not sure, but I think this commercial is slightly less ridiculous than the original. I guess you can be the judge. Warning: there is some upper-thigh in this so it could be NSFW, but it is all male, so you are probably OK.

Here at IR, we love us some Arrested Development references, and I would be remiss if I didn't at least mention that this commercial could have been made slightly better with Tobias Funke running around...

Between Two Ferns with Conan

Posted by Double M

I don't know if you've ever watched Between two Ferns with Zach Galikningksdskaskdas. They are on Funny or Die and I think they are only slightly funny. I have no clue why but the past one featuring Conan O'Brien was pretty funny. If you like the awkward, dry humor stuff you will laugh. It's kinda like watching those old-school Chris Farley SNL skits only sadder and darker.

H/T: VideoGum

If you liked that, you'll probably enjoy the original one featuring Michael Cera (I feel like I've posted this before but I can't find it).

You can watch all the Between Two Ferns at that link.

Christopher Walken + Lady Gaga = Good Times

Posted by Double M

Let's be honest, if there is a internet video featuring Christopher Walken, I am probably watching it. That guy is awesome. In fact, I'm pretty sure that the title of this post could read Christopher Walken = Good Times or Christopher Walken + anything = Good Times, so you should just know going into this that it is going to be awesome.

But just to prep you: it is Christopher Walken reciting Lady Gaga lyrics.

House of Cosby's

Posted by Double M

So earlier today I found this image on the mist:

And it made me laugh so I shared it. Fortunately, the humor doesn't end there. Thanks to the genius that is Google Reader, my boy NoLuckMurphy shared a genius video series with me called the House of Cosby's.

It definitely made me laugh so I have shared it below.

If you want to watch more videos, they are available here.

Have a good weekend.

Who Doesn't Love a Little Dancin' Charlie [Sunny]

Posted by Double M

Every once in a while I like to remind you of one of the great TV shows on right now - It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

While there are many reasons to love this show, one of the best is Charlie's random dance moves. Fortunately, someone put together a montage (everybody needs a montage!) of some of Charlie's best dance moves that you will enjoy even if you don't watch Sunny.

The show is on tonight. You should probably watch it. Just saying.

Gay Bar Song

Posted by Double M

I don't usually watch anything from the BBC (their arrogance about their dark version of The Office has forced me to avoid their mediocre television and bad teeth), but this clip made me laugh.

If that song came out right now, it would be all over pop radio right in between Miley and LMFAO.
